Intention
Stitch after getting read "the ugly duckling", gets sad that he him self is also like the ugly duck where he doesn't have a family where he belongs, especially after messing things up at the beach when getting chased by Dr. Jumbo and seeing how close Lilo and her sister is after made him feel like he's not a part of the family.
This doesn't help especially all his life he's been only seen and told as an experiment. Getting feared by humans on Earth getting rejected by Nani also lowers his self confidence.

Execution
He is usually very energetic and sassy, but after he sees the relationship Lilo has with Nani, and after seeing the picture Lilo has of her family, he becomes extremely insecure and sad that he can't have his Ohana.
Caricature
