Analysis

"Tokyo Godfathers"

1. Her facial expression is one of disdain and disgust as she completely insults his family. Asymmetry in the center line. One eyebrow is raised higher. Her body is angled away from the man she's insulting and her shoulders are tensed and raised.

Even though only half her face is shown, thanks to the raise eyebrow, excellent understanding of shape and solidness, bulging vein, and converging lines, the audience can easily tell that her face is asymmetrical here. She shows him one side of face to emphasize one eye judging him and her anger being represented by her bulging neck vein.

"Lilo and Stitch"

Stitch is often feared and disgusted by the characters around, except for Lilo. He has been described as deformed koala by Lilos older sister, and . In this clip, one Lilo's bully, Mertle, gets introduced to Stitch. As you can see here, Mertle's facial expression shows that she isn't the happiest to see him. The rise of her eyebrows, her mouth in an "e" shape, shows both disgust and fear. You can also see it in her body language. Mertle's right leg and arm is pulled away from Stitch's direction, giving us a hint that she does not want to be near Stitch. 

"Inside Out"

 

1. In this gif, the character crinkles her nose, and raises her upper lip, showing how disgusted she is. She then rolls her eyes, showing how she is done with what is disgusting her.

"Coraline"

Here, She showed a look of disgust, we can tell that she doesn't like these dogs leaping towards her.

 We can see her upper lip is raised, and lower lip raised and slightly protruding.Also She raised her arm, doesn’t want to be touched by these dogs.

In this shot, her brows are furrowed and her eyes are fixed on the dogs, in order to avoid them before they pounce on her again.
